Vets hit notes of joy with Sounds of Valor

I heard about the project three days before I shot it. A friend introduced me to the executive producer, Michael Campbell. Michael told me about Tom Mooney. A Vietnam veteran. A musician. A man who had spent the better part of his life wanting to put together an all-veteran band and play in front of a crowd. The concert was Thursday. I said yes before he finished the sentence.
